The cube symbolizes many things, the body, stability, truth, and the rational and logical mind of mankind. “Metamorphose” is a reflection of these symbolic meanings and is a representation of the stages in one's life. It was created by casting bronze and aluminum directly onto a carved wood form. With little control over this process, the outcomes are unpredictable. It is within this battle of control that I find myself, fully engaged, in the concept of humanity versus nature.
